Neuf ans après la rencontre de Bamako 2000, qui a connu une forte participation de la société civile africaine et qui s'est tenue sous la présidence de M. Alpha Oumar Konaré, c'est encore à Bamako que des ONG, des associations, des collectivités locales, des universitaires et chercheurs, venant de divers horizons, se sont donnés rendez-vous pour réfléchir ensemble sur le rôle des ONG dans l'appropriation sociale des TIC en Afrique de l'Ouest. Pendant trois jours (7, 8, 9 décembre), au cœur de la ville ayant le rythme de croissance urbaine le plus élevé sur le continent africain, se tiendront les 2èmes rencontres régionales E-Atlas Francophone de l'Afrique de l'Ouest, qui visent à faire le bilan d'une dizaine d'années d'implication des ONG dans les dynamiques de territorialisation des sociétés africaines de l’information.

Reminds me of Vietnam! They don't have quite the same number of motorbikes as Vietnam but they do have their fair share. The ladies are all dressed in their print African outfits instead of the Ao Dai's.

In Mali they don't use the most animal-friendly way to transport their goats. these goast were put in a bag and stored in the loading space for almost 16 hours (dogon - bamako)
