I love going into churches and cathedrals and taking vertical photos. So many people don't look at the magnificent ceilings of these superb buildings. I think this is rib vaulting.

These three chaps are painted to look like bronze statues. They would hold this pose for a while, and when someone put money in the bronzed shoe they would pretend to play their instruments for a few planned seconds before freezing once more as statues. Very, very impressive. Well done chaps, that looked much easier than I suspect it actually was.
