Na novo odprtem Mesarskem mostu, ki je vidno povečal zbiranje ljudi na tistem delu tržnice tudi zvečer, sta o nočnem utripu našega glavnega mesta spregovorila Rastko Kos in Alenka Koron. "Sicer zvečer res ne hodiva veliko ven, vendar se nama zdi, da je ponudbe dovolj. So nama pa všeč manj obljudeni kraji, tako ob Ljubljanici skoraj ne najdeva več mesta zase, saj je prevelik živžav," menita.

Povezava Roške in Njegoševe ceste bo s 16,5 milijona evrov ena od najdražjih cestnih povezav zadnjih let v ljubljanski mestni občini, saj je bila recimo gradnja Barjanske ceste, osme mestne vpadnice, več kot polovico cenejša. Promet bo po novi povezavi potekal štiripasovno, most čez Ljubljanico, delo arhitekta Jurija Kobeta, skozi vmesni del Cukrarne (med industrijsko-skladiščnim delom in Palačo), pa bo v dveh nadstropjih. Zgornje bo namenjeno avtomobilskemu prometu, spodnje pa pešcem in kolesarjem. Prav kolesarsko stezo naj bi po mnenju Kurilićeve, ki ji je pri pritožbi na gradbeno dovoljenje izdatno pomagal mestni svetnik Zelenih Slovenije Miha Jazbinšek, pri projektu nedopustno opustili, poleg tega naj pločniki ne bi dosegali predpisanega standarda, ponekod pa naj bi manjkali še rumeni pasovi za mestne avtobuse.

V bodoči negovalni bolnišnici bodo lahko nameščeni oslabeli bolniki, ki jim zdravstveno stanje po odpustu iz bolnišničnega zdravljenja ne omogoča samostojnega in dostojnega življenja v domačem okolju niti z zagotovljeno občasno zdravstveno nego in socialno oskrbo. V projektni nalogi, ki so jo na zdravstvenem ministrstvu pripravili že lani, so za bodočo ljubljansko negovalno bolnišnico predvideli 135 postelj, od tega 20 za intenzivno nego in 20 za paliativno oskrbo, vanjo pa vključili tudi pripravo načrta za energetsko učinkovitost prenovljenega objekta. Ob tem so ocenili, da jih bo naložba v temeljito prenovo poslopja za potrebe negovalne bolnišnice stala približno 5 milijonov, energetska sanacija pa še dodatna 2 milijona evrov.

Do nesklepčnosti je prišlo, ko je Franc Pukšič (SLS) Jankoviću očital, da so njegovi odgovori neresnični in ob protestih županovega odvetnika Petra Čeferina krepko povzdignil glas, češ da v parlamentu odloča on, in ne odvetniki. Janković je zatem jezno zapustil sejno sobo, za njima pa sta sejo protestno, češ da pri taki farsi že ne bosta sodelovala, zapustila tudi Pukšič in Zmago Jelinčič (SNS). Janković se je čez slabo minuto vrnil, omenjena člana preiskovalne komisije pa ne.

Po podatkih ŠOU so se cene stanovanj in študentskih sob občutno povišale v času predsedovanja Slovenije Evropski uniji in se od takrat niso opazno pocenile. Cena mesečne najemnine za dvoposteljno študentsko sobo v prestolnici se gibajo med 130 in 180 evrov (cene ne vključujejo mesečnih stroškov), za enoposteljno sobo pa je treba odšteti med 190 in 250 evrov, prav tako brez stroškov. Zanimalo nas je, kako visoke najemnine si lahko privošči povprečen študent. Sanja Jablanovič in Blaž Jamšek iz Študentske svetovalnice sta pojasnila, da je "cena bivanja v študentskem domu krojena po potrebah in zmožnostih študentov. Po tem lahko sklepamo, da je povprečen študent sposoben plačati najemnino, primerljivo z najemninami v študentskih domovih". A ob tem opozarjata, da študent ki ne dobi postelje v študentskih domovih, "nima izbire in mora nekje stanovati, pa tudi če je najemnina zanj previsoka".
