"Politisch korrekte Selbstkasteiung ist freilich nicht vorgesehen: Als wir - zwei Fahrtstunden südlich der Hauptstadt - mitten in flacher, mit staubgrünen Büschen bestandener Savannenlandschaft in Hoachanas vor der zweitältesten Kirche Afrikas stehen, dem 1857 erbauten lutherischen Gebetshaus deutscher Siedler, sind wir von der protestantischen Architektur im Schatten von Palmen gerührt". Das Fazit des Autoren? "Reisender, kommst du nach Namibia, fahre in den Süden und entdecke Geschichten und Menschen, die vor Ehrfurcht staunen lassen ..."
