Nature plays color games.. see this bunch where only one of the tiny flowers has yellow center and rest of them only white..

Nature's "minimalism" at its best.. no complexity, no details.. just pure "WATER".. directly coming from clouds...

I think this photo is about "simplicity" of photography
Needed a "refresher" after the photo which made to Front Page last night...

Also wanted to incorporate some suggestions from Pankaj on importance of Composition!
This photo is specifically created to keep negative space on the right..

This is almost SOOC shot with very little work in gimp.

Definitely worth to View Large On Black.. for the eye texture


Trust me.. i had a heck of a time today.. just went to the building garden for 15 mins (took a break from hectic work!). It was raining and guess what.. this dragonfly was sitting on the tree.. so wet and cold that he was in no mood to fly!

My Usual equipment friends:
Canon 1000 D + Sigma APO DG Macro 70-300 + Raynox DCR 250 + home-made Pop-up-flash diffuser (Hand-held, manual focus)
and most importantly.. my "tube" diffuser specially created for macro with 70-300 & Raynox!
