Center of Riga

The very center of the capital of Latvia. From left to right: Museum of Sun, St. Peter's Church the background, House of Blackheads and Museum of the Occupation (formerly Soviet museum).
This strange pine tree is one of the art installations from Live Riga initiative.

Riga Indoor Market
Bookmarked by nobody@flickr.com (canong2fan)

canong2fan posted a photo:

Riga Indoor Market

Europe's largest market place has occupied these converted Zeppelin hangars since its inaugural year in 1930, and still retains the lively feel of a traditional trade emporium.
Each of the five hangars, or 'pavilions', has a different speciality - such as meat, fish, groceries and dairy products, whilst the numerous stalls and canopies around the hangars sell everything from fresh produce to cheap socks and DVDs.

Really cool sounds from this Riga busker.
I don't think he brought his own background but it suits him well!
