The House of the Blackheads on Rātslaukums (Town Hall Square) and statue of Saint Rowland, in the old city of Riga, Latvia, Eastern Europe.
Originally constructed in 1344 for the Brotherhood of the Blackheads Guild (an organisation for unmarried foreign merchants in Riga), major work was done in the years 1580 and 1886, when most of the ornamentation was added.
The structure was heavily bombed by the Germans on June 28, 1941 and the remains demolished by the Soviets in 1948. Reconstruction was carried out in time for Riga's 800th anniversary in 2001.
Taken on December 30, 2006.

Pentax Spotmatic (Screw mount)
I have forgotten the lens but I remember the distance, I'd say a 24mm Takumar.
