Channel Television holds the ITV licence for the Channel Islands. The station was founded in 1962 and is one of the three remaining independently-owned UK broadcasters outside ITV Plc. The station serves 150,000 people across the Channel Islands with studios in Jersey and Guernsey, producing more than five and a half hours of regional programming every week. Channel Television is part of Iliffe News and Media, which is owned by Yattendon Investment Trust (YIT), a private company owned by the Iliffe family.

The Airport Terminal was opened in April 2004, and was shortlisted for several architectural awards. The building won the ‘Guernsey Design Award’ in November 2005. The new terminal offers state of the art facilities for passengers and other airport users, including an internet cafe, large duty free shop, one of the world’s first airport-based fairtrade stores, as well as good quality catering and bar facilities. The first floor of the building offers spacious waiting areas with fantastic views over the Channel Islands, together with a conference room for business meetings.

Condor Ferries was founded in 1964 by Channel Islands' businessmen Peter Dorey and Jack Norman, operating between The Channel Islands, UK and France.
